It’s very unfortunate and despairing that according to a U.S Census roughly 2.5 million children in America don’t have a covering in the harsh winters or a roof in the scorching summer (Bassuk, DeCandia, Beach & Berman, 2014). I confess I have a soft spot for assisting people knowing that I have seen the struggle with my very own eyes. If I was ever in this situation, being an employee and witnessing someone looking homeless and with a young child stealing food, I would honestly grab the person, give them a good talk about how it’s not honest to steal and ask them to please not do that again.
