“Stopping by woods on a snowy evening” by Robert Frost The poem theme is the empty woods where someone can find peace but is constantly being reminded of the responsibilities and promises one has to fulfill , could have came from the world being ragged into wars. In line 9 “the darkest evening of the year” could have been about the wars going on and the failing economy.
