However, without these qualities, students will eventuallysurrender to failure.Perseverance is a fundamental principle of success. Without pushing through hardshipsand failure, success is not attainable. Thomas Edison, for example, among his countless otherinventions, attempted over one thousand times to invent the electric light bulb before designingone that worked. Even after countless failures, Edison still pursued his ideas until he hadsuccessfully produced a light bulb that would revolutionize the lighting industry. In the sameway, college students must persevere through their trials and tribulations and strive for success. Itis well known that college level courses are not particularly easy; even Albert Einstein, who waspossibly the greatest theoretical physicist of all time, dropped out of school. All students will
