1. My wife and I bought a house for 90K. After having two children we did not have room any more so we decided to sell it. So we put it on the market for 120k. No one was even looking at it for a couple months. Until I finally got an OFFER for 100k. I was insulted by this offer, I didn’t even want to give the guy a COUNTEROFFER. But since I had no offers after 6 months of being on the market I decided to counter at 110k. This guy countered again at 105k. We decided to give an ACCEPTANCE on the condition that he buy the house “as-is”. He accepted our final offer, so my wife and I went out to go look for a new house. We found a house that was bigger and we gave an offer on the new prospective house. At the same time the buyer for my old house ordered an inspection to make sure there were no serious problems with my old house. After the inspection it was discovered that my septic system would not allow for a special grant for first time home owners. So he sent us a letter asking us to make the
