[Garcia] 1 Stephanie Garcia Professor McKinley KINE1164 27 March 2017 Nutrition Project For this project, my task was to record everything that I had eaten for a total of three days. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot but when I wrote everything down on paper and took a step back, I realized that I eat a lot more than I think I do. I made a profile on MyFitnessPal; it tracks my exercise for the day, food intake and gives me a daily goal to try and stay under a certain amount of calories. I came to the conclusion at the end of my three days that I walk a lot more than I think I do, and I eat a lot more than what I think. Everything had just become such a daily routine that I don’t even think about what I eat anymore. On the first day, I ate at the Weatherford College cafeteria for the most part. For breakfast I had a half a cup of scrambled eggs with cheese, a cup of potatoes, and one biscuit with gravy. Just breakfast alone came out to be just under a thousand calories. According to my daily goal, that’s more than half of my calorie intake for the day. As much protein as the eggs had, there was twice as much fat in them as well.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
