Alex Serrano 11/28/2016 Proposal For my documented argument, I tackled the topic of physician-assisted suicide. My argument is in terms of morality, physician-assisted suicide should be a legal option for terminally ill patients throughout the United States. Legalizing assisted suicide grants terminally ill patients the right to choose to die with dignity and the ability to end unbearable suffering that can impact their quality of life. My rebuttal being that assisted suicide is not morally right and results in the devaluation of life. As this topic has been approached by many, my idea was to gather very recent information, specifically 2016 news about the topic. I also brought in two famous philosophers, Kant and Mill, to help support my argument. My end goal is to convince my audience that assisted suicide should be a matter of free will, and in terms of morality, it is the right thing to do if a terminally ill patient wants that option.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
