Levi Workman 12/5/16 Professor Janis Lowry My Philosophy of Healthcare Over this course I have changed and adapted my philosophy of healthcare based on the weekly teachings, service learning interview, and personal experience. I finally developed my healthcare philosophy by asking myself these three questions, “Who I want to be in my healthcare career?”, “Who do I want to be in healthcare for my patients?”, and “Who do I want to be in my healthcare career for the community?” I answered each question as follows: I want to be a Christ like healthcare provider, I want to be the person that my patients feel safe and comfortable around while under treatment, and I want to be able to be counted on for quality care by the community. I used these three answers along with teachings, personal experience, and the service learning interview to formulate my philosophy.
