Introduction The women suffrage movement was formed and introduced in the year 1948; this was as a result of a meeting which was held at Seneca Falls. The meeting was aimed at educating people about the women rights hence the introduction of the women suffrage movement. The movement was formed and among the officials were; Susan B. Anthony, and also Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Their main objective of this movement was o push for the amendment of the constitution such that the Women rights were keenly observed and respected. The leaders of the movement were responsible for pressurizing the congress to amend or forms the laws that will help keep the rights of the women. Its roots There are a number of factors which led to the fight for the rights of women. One of these factors is the fact that women were not allowed to vote or have equal legal chance like men. Another factor is the fact that women were not considered to be among those who will enjoy the benefits of education r knowledge sharing.
