Make your own outline of the article: (Outline format)-Two questions: 1)The nature of personal identity 2) The importance of identity.-Wiggins proposes a brain that is divided and placed in two new persons: 1) No survival at all 2) Survival as only one new person 3) Survival as both new persons.-Possibilites 1 and 2 not plausible because people have survived with half a brain, it cannot be decided person survives in such a situation.-3 is a first rejected because survival states sameness of identity and you cannot have two persons having the same identity. By putting the brain halves into different people, they then experience having the same identity....
