Unformatted text preview: Interfaces July-August 2008 Overview Interfaces is the foremost journal on operations research/management science and its application in the business world. Published bimonthly by INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, Interfaces normally contains articles that detail the implementation of operations research and management science in real-life situations, and the impact it has on the organization. The July-August edition of Interfaces is specially focused on the use of spreadsheets and spreadsheet modeling in operations research. In the introduction to the July-August 2008 edition of Interfaces , Larry J. LeBlanc and Thomas A. Grossman outline the main benefits and problems with using spreadsheet modeling in everyday operations research practice.
