Running Head - Bella’s The owner, Illa, did the correct thing when she hired Lynne to be the general manager of Bella’s. As I see it, Lynne was a “hands on” general manager. She visited the businesses in person while she was working there. She seemed to be involved with the business personally. At first, every employee knew the owner, Illa, the general manager, Lynne, and each other. As time went by, it seemed that Illa had less to do with decision making and more to do with just overseeing. While Lynne, was doing more consulting, so there was less personal interactions, which resulted in a decline in business. After reading the survey results, it seems to me that more of a personal general manager was needed. The employees and managers wanted and needed more of a relationship with the general manager and/or owner. I think the loss of Lynne made for less direction and oversight for the managers.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
