Course elements • LECTURE: Meets in PSF-173 TueTh at 10:40. • RECITATION: Meets in PSH-360 or PSH-355, PSF-366 • NOTE: PHY 122 (laboratory) is a separate course with its own instructors.

Lecture format • No traditional lecture: you read book sections before coming to class. • Required reading is indicated in CLASS SCHEDULE section of Syllabus. • There will be a Reading Quiz using the CPS clicker to verify that you read the required sections. • You cannot open the textbook during a Reading Quiz, but you can use notes that you prepared at home while reading the book. • Near the end of some lectures there will be a Conceptual Quiz using the CPS clicker.
