This course is designed to give you a glimpse into the mind of a statistician: how a statistician thinks, approaches problems and helps us understand the data-rich world around us. We will explore the following topics: Descriptive Statistics - How can we make quick sense of the data? Linear Regression - How can we find relationships among our data? Experimental Design - How does the way in which we generate and collect data affect what it can tell us? Probability and Chance Variability - How do we make sense of events that occur at random? Statistics Inference
