3.0 Inferential Statistics Inferential Statistic 1: One Sample Test We are analyzing result by using the data from one sample that we are taken on how population is intention to take organic food by affecting health. Before we start to conduct the test, we need to assume that the population is normally distributed even though the standard deviation is unknown as the sample size is large enough (Central Limit Theorem). The table below has shown the number of people who involved in our survey, sample mean and sample standard deviation. Mean, x x = Σ f(x) / Σf = ( 1 × 8 ) + ( 2 × 61 ) + ( 3 × 192 ) + ( 4 × 226 ) +( 5 × 200 ) 687 = 3.80 Standard deviation, S = Σ f ( x −´ x ) 2 Σf = 680.28 687 = 0.9951 Step 1 H 0: The average scale of people choose in the question of the organic food keeps them healthy is greater than or equal to 4 H 1: The average scale of people choose in the question of the organic food keeps them healthy is less than 4

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
