Marketing 348 Articles #15 – The Science of Desire This article discusses how the use of ethnographers has become a more  widely used practice.  Ethnographers identify what is missing in people lives  by working with designers and engineers to help dream up products and  services to fill those needs.  They receive criticism from many solely based on  lack of awareness.  When businesses first hear of this practice they disregard  the practice because it’s an extremely atypical way of looking at marketing.  However many companies have found it to be very useful and have produced  some great results o I think it’s just something that needs some time.  People in older  generations are very standoffish when it comes to change and I really  believe that is the case here.  Yes it’s a strange practice, but when you get  down to the basis of it, it really makes sense.  Why would you not form
