Aaron Crapser Comm 385 Current Events Paper #3 09/21/08 article: Solid Start for Syndie Shows TVweek.com Summary TVweek has an interesting article from a few days ago about some of the new syndicated programming on television this year. The article begins by talking about the fact that a number of new shows have recently joined the annals of syndicated television and , not only that, but they are giving industry execs “cause for some optimism.” The article focuses on five syndicated programs, “The Doctors”, “Deal or No Deal”, “The Bonnie Hunt Show”, “Judge Karen” and, “Family Court with Judge Penny”. The first three shows in this list are stated to have presented strong early performance, but the article makes known that only four days of data had been collected to hinge this statement on.
