Explain.Chief Executive Straberg broke down barriers and increased communication between departments by creating a single formal task group containing his personal designers, engineers, marketers, executives from Proctor and Gamble and Pepsi Co. working as a group compiling their ideas to develop new products. (Ivancevich and Konopaske, 2014, p. 271). Electrolux was devastated with spiraling costs, company stockdeclining and the threat of competitors, Chief Executive Stråberg gradually pulled Electrolux from out of their spiraling decline with his suggested changes throughout the company, before his presence employees at Electrolux focused primarily on individual tasks and separate department expectations instead of group task as one complete department.
