Date: November 3, 2016 Subject: Wk3- Discussion questions Q1: What are five types of leadership? Which one is your superior? Different types of leadership styles exist in work environments as following: 1. Trait-based leadership 2. Transactional leadership 3. Situational leadership 4. Charismatic leadership 5. Transformational leadership From my point of view, there were times and situations when I wanted a leader to inspire and guide me, and other times I wanted a leader who was more directive about what they wanted done. It really depended on the situations. However, leadership is not "one size fits all" thing. There are different situations that required certain type or style of leadership. Therefore, I prefer a leader who is able to change their style based on the situation. Of course, I do not want my leader to be democratic or autocratic all the time. I am comfortable with the fact that leaders have to make decisions, they can seek input or advice but someone has to decide what the best course of action will be. If I were forced to choose just one style, I would have to go with transformational leaders who have integrity. They inspire people with a shared vision of the future, set clear goals, motivate people towards these goals, manage delivery, and communicate well with their teams. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos is my superior leader. His Majesty a great leader in GCC and he deliver lot of peace efforts in GCC as well as in the world. Peace comes from strong leadership and commitment and His Majesty had the vision, the wisdom and the courage to make and create peace. He is great leader in GCC country. He done of efforts for peace in GCC and in the world.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
