Appendix C Beginning an Emission Spectrum Using the MeasureNet Spectrophotometer Initializing the MeasureNet Workstation 1. Turn on the Spectrophotometer before you set-up your workstation. 2. Press the On/Off button to turn on the MeasureNet station. Press the Main Menu button, finally press the F5 Spectroscopy button, then press the F1 emission button. 3. To establish scan parameters for the experiment press SetUp. 4. Set the limits of the scan by pressing F1. Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move

Set the maximum intensity to 1500, and then press Enter. Leave the minimum intensity set to 0. 6. The X axis represents the Wavelength of the emitted light in nanometers, nm. Use the default settings for min and max wavelengths. 7. Press the Display button to enter the values into the MeasureNet system. It is now ready to record an emission spectrum....
