Criticism and Absolute Perfection Something important I learned from the textbook is that if one aspires to become a good writer and a adept researcher one must also learn how to receive criticism and feedback. Absolute perfection is nonexistent in the realm of research. As stated before, there is no such thing as perfect research. The researcher grows and develops like any organism or like any other professional in the criminal justice arena. On the contrary, the researcher must learn to glean important details from criticism and use it to further develop his or her research aptitudes. I do agree that there are no perfection in research, but I do think that one can be perfect in the steps of research. If a person can stick to the steps of research did he or she not do it to perfection? Criticism is something that we all need to reach our goals in whatever it is that we do. While doing research a
