Introduction Tony, a manager of B&A Toy Warehouse, has evaluatedperformance by comparing current performance against thedesired level of performance. This allowed determining areasfor improvement to assist the warehouse in achieving itsproductivity goals. On the other hand, he also implemented hisstrategies and identified the areas that require corrective action.He also completed a more detailed analysis of the warehousesystem and process and identifies the specific steps required toimprove productivity. However, there are some problems happening within the firmthat needs more attentions. Thus this report aims torecommend some implement plan for Tony. This report will bedivided into four sections. The first section is the initialrecommendations for performance improvement. Then, theperformance analysis will be discussed to explore the failure ofthe warehouse’s system and areas need to be improved. Thissection is followed some recommendations for changes andimprove these areas. Finally, there is a recommendation onhow to change the strategy and work methods at B&A Toywarehouse.Recommendations for Performance ImprovementWarehouse layout could affect the time to dispatch products forthe orders. Rearranging the warehouse is necessary if the firmwant to reduce the time. It helps the staffs easily access thestocks. The stocks could be sorted from most popular inalphabet orders to least famous one. Furthermore, trainingstaffs is important. More experienced could process quicker byentering the order in the system and locating the stocks in the
warehouse faster. Consequently, the time can be reduced andmore customers could be served.It is recommended that all staffs must be fully acknowledgedthe warehouse system to prevent misunderstood that can leadto lead to underperformance. More cost could be consumed tofix these mistakes.There are some reasons that the warehouse lacks of thequality. The first reason is the communication skills. It isessential for Tony to develop the effective communicationworkplace. This means less time consume, less cost andhigher quality of performance.
