EXECUTIVE SUMMARYCheptabach Evergreen focuses on rearing of poultry for meat and eggs production. It plans onincreasing the number of poultry to 500 birds. The total cost for expansion of the project shall beKsh100, 000broken down as; Ksh73, 000 for construction, Ksh 27,000 for purchase of thechicks, poultry feed and other poultry accessories. For capacity building, water and electricinstallation, administrative costs and labor cost. It is assumed that only 80% production shall berealized, which means 30 trays of eggs shall be realized per month for 12 months on average aswell as meat. The primary customers for the eggs shall be prominent egg traders within Eldorettown. The minor customers shall be the egg venders who usually boil 10 to 15 trays of eggs andvend it at pubs, market places and streets. The reason for the target market is that egg productionin Sosiani location cannot meet market demands. If Cheptabach Evergreen is funded, it willcreate a great impact in the lives of Sosiani residents. In the first place, the project will createemployment for at least 5 youngsters currently not employed in any productive venture.Thisemployment will give them an alternative way to generate income, In spite of these goals,Cheptabach Evergreenlacks the financial resources necessary to realize this. The organizationseeks Ksh100, 000 to expand the poultry farming venture.

The organization’s guiding principleis transparency, accountability and support which are reinforced by prayer and finance.OBJECTIVESOverall GoalTo increase the sustainability of Cheptabach Evergreen to continuously support its mission andcreating employment opportunities.Specific Objectives1.To expand the business, raise and sell chickens and eggs (poultry products) and use itsprofits to help support the activities of Cheptabach Evergreen.2.To improve the economic welfare of residents of Sosiani and the Youths employing themto run and support the “poultry farming project”.
