PAYMENT CASE STUDY 2 Abstract The major consulting firm has employed the uses of statistical analysis to assess the effectiveness of new electronic billing system in hopes that it will reduce the amount of time it takes customers to make payments. The following paper analyzes the presented data based on a data set provided by the University of Phoenix. It tests the hypothesis 19.5 days in how effective the new system is at 95 and 99 percent confidence intervals. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the data using a sample of 65 cases to determine if they are less than to equal to 18.11 days.
PAYMENT CASE STUDY 3 The Payment Time Case The following case takes a look at a new electronic billing system for a trucking company. The system was created out of a need to reduce the amount of time it takes customers to make payments. The trucking company's old billing system averaged 39 days or more to receive payments. For this case, the pay times for 65 invoices were randomly selected from a sample of 7,823 invoices. The selected invoices were processed during the first three months of
