Leslie Franco3/12/15English I The book Night by Elie Wiesel is about a young boy, Elie, that survives the horrible Holocaust. All jewsare taken to the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944. Elie talks about pretty much everything on what happens in the concentration camp like what he sees, what he does, and what he goes through. Humanity is the good things that other people do to each other and inhumanity is the bad thing they do to eachotherliliElie was positive affected by the acts of humanity and negative affected by the acts of humanity. Elie witnesses a lot of inhumanity acts. Elie says “ Then, as if waking from a deepsleep, he slapped my father with such force that he fell down and then crawled back to his place on all fours. “ ( Wiesel 39 ) The prison guard does not sees Elie’s father as a human, he sees him as a animal crawling on all his fours. Elie was affected because it says that he stood shocked and all he could think of was he shall never forgive them for this. Elie says “ We received no food.
