Unformatted text preview: The Fisher King In the Fisher King, Jack Lucas a talk radio host becomes very suicidal after what some of his comments cause a psychotic listener to commit multiple murders at a local bar. A few years later Lucas is very drunk one night, and also very depressed he attempts to commit suicide. While walking he is attacked by a group of homeless people, Parry played by Robin Williams comes to his rescue. Parry is another homeless man who is on a mission to find the Holy Grail; he tries to talk Jack into helping him find it. Jack really doesnt want any parts of it at first. Jack then changes his mind and decides to help Parry when he finds out that Parrys wife was a victim of Jacks psychotic listener. Jack believes that if he can help Parry, he can help himself. Jack wants to help Parry win over the girl of his dreams, Lydia Sinclair. Doing this though, Jack puts his own relationship with his girlfriend Anne on the line.
