Alysia CristWalden UniversityHistory 2005-1I would have to say that the greatest thing that came from WWII was the scientific and technological innovations. Especially due to the United States. During WWII many improvements and inventions were being produced in an effort to at first supply other nations with what they needed to survive and succeed, and then themselves. This skyrocketed the United States economy even more than it had during the first World War. As it can be said that President Roosevelt was who began the initial pull of the United States out of the Great Depression it was the production, invention, and constant that pulled the nation out completely. Annual spending onscience labs became more increased, medical researchers came up with a new class of pharmaceuticals, radar, improved depth charges, and long range bombing also became increasingly better, (USA TODAY, 2015). During this time due to wartime shortages products, who greatest days were ahead, like plastics, frozen foods, and microfilm made their rise.
