VULNERABILITY, WEAKNESS, & CHRIST 2 When someone is vulnerable, they are capable of being physically or emotionally wounded and being open to attack. For a public speaker, it creates fear in their mind which makes them question their performance ability. Ultimately, feeling vulnerable allows the speaker to start to doubt themselves immensely. This causes fear to build in the mind and negatively affects both the speaker and their performance. However, when the speaker decides not to succumb to vulnerability and fear, but instead turns to God and speaks through Him, both feelings subside and fade away. Vulnerability and fear are both powerful feelings. When someone starts to feel these, they can either overcome them or let them sink in. Now lets say there is a young adult going to give a speech in front of a group of peers and they've never been the best at talking publicly. They're going to feel vulnerable, which will leave
