Ryan Rabin Childhood Memory #2 I was 13 years old. It is a pretty typical story, but I remember almost every detail. It was puppy love at first sight. I couldn’t stop thinking about Chloe Malle. She was in the cool crowd of girls at school, but she wasn’t stuck up like them, regardless of the fact that she had way more money. I didn’t care about the money thing, I just thought it was cool that she never flaunted it. Those other girls were here friends, but Chloe stood out to me. She was hilarious. She was always clowning on herself and making her pretentious girlfriends uncomfortable. I think she always knew I had a crush on her from the beginning. I also made the mistake of telling about 2 of my friends, which of course turned into the entire grade knowing about it. This didn’t make her uncomfortable either. Now, I wasn’t in the cool basketball crowd at the time, but I would say I was definitely in the cool wild card group of friends. We weren’t quite band geeks but we weren’t quite jocks, and there were
