06/10/2008 15:41:00 Physics Lab : Runaway  Cart! 1.The average value of g and error in g for each method The Acceleration in (meters per seconds squared) method o Average value of g : The sum of observed answers divided by nine.  The answer is 9.43 o The average error for g : the sum of allowed error divided by 3. The  answer is 0.65 o 9.43+0.65=10.08, which is greater than the known value, so the  average agrees with the known value. The Time between photogates method o Average value of g : the sum of observed answers divided by nine. The  answer is 11.0 o The average error for g : the sum of allowed error divided by 3, the  answer is 2.9 o 11.9 – 2.9 = 8.07, which is less than the known value of gravity, and  therefore within the limits of error.
