Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) has seized an opportunity to enter the market first with a model of the hybrid that will guarantee better gas mileage with 100% efficiency. However, in order for Toyota to successfully launch their hybrid model (called the Prius), they need to leverage their internal channels. Leveraging their tried and true resources and core key strengths will be their key to success. What buyer value is created with the hybrid powertrain as implemented inthe Prius?Toyota creating a hybrid powertrain is a clear differentiation competitive advance for the automobile superpower.
