REALITY THERAPY2Reality Therapy, Choices, and BehaviorRegarding needs and wants - what is the Quality World, what exists within the Quality World, and what is the significance of knowing/understanding an individual's Quality World?Based on specific wants and generalized needs the quality world represents beliefs, accomplishments, people, and belongings that would fulfill an individual’s needs. An individual’s quality world has very precise wants and the specific ways of attaining those wants. Counselors have acknowledged that understanding an individual’s quality world is the key to therapeutic success by being an ideal counselor the client would trust. Theorists believed both counselor and client should have an understanding of the quality world, because the client if the client has a clear goal the path would be easier to follow.
