Week 4: Feb 1 – Feb 7 Week #4 Learning Activities Utilize this week’s reading assignments and the below YouTube video to respond to the questions for Week #4 Learning Activities: Learning Activity #1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures YouTube Video .Describe one of the SAP types described in the video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhztuX4pPjE There are five methods of procurements or simplified acquisition procedures (SAP): 1) Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) 2) Imprest Fund (or Petty Cash) 3) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) 4) Purchase Order 5) Standard Form 44 (SF44) The video went on to explain three of the five: GCPC, Imprest Fund and SF44. I would like to further describe: GCPC. The GCPC is authorized for making purchases of supplies and services. It is used by individuals authorized, such as contracting officers.
