2 Annotated The world we live in today is more violent than ever. So many people lost faith in police officers because of the recent rise in officer involved shooting of unarmed people. This is something that needs to be changed. Annotated Bibliography Krieger, N., Chen, J. T., Waterman, P. D., Kiang, M. V., & Feldman, J. (2015). Police Killings and Police Deaths Are Public Health Data and Can Be Counted. Plos Medicine, 12(12), 1. doi:10.1371/journal.pmed.1001915 The authors of this text write a report on the data they collected on how many deaths in America are caused by police brutality. This article shows that there are more deaths by policemen then there seem to be. The authors go on and talk about these incidents. They also propose a solution to make sure the public is fully aware of all the incidents going on and not just the ones we see in the media spotlight.
