Worksheet #6 1. The emotional risks can be good and bad such as feeling sad and confused when things go wrong. The physical risks may be abuse and health related. The major differences are that physical risks are more damaging and higher risk. 2. One issue that hinders people from using birth control and other STI prevention methods is lack of health insurance and inability to pay for them. A way to overcome this is learning about the different services offered at local clinics such as Planned Parenthood where there is little to no cost for birth control. 3. Communication about sexuality is typically uncomfortable for most people because of their lack of knowledge in the subject and fear of saying something that may make someone else uncomfortable. Like Mark mentions in class it is really important to have these talks and feel awkward and uncomfortable in order to have better sex lives.
