Composition IIFrankenstein Application Essay July 4, 2017Can science go to far?In the beginning of technological advances scientists around the world have explain through technology and inventions ‘may the impossible become reality’. For example, computers, smart phones, exploration of the universe, cloning, and health advances. Nevertheless, science and technology has brought negative consequences to humanity. To begin with, Mary Shelly describes the novel at the end of eighteen century during 1701 and 1900. The author widely describes the environment of the age. Women wore long and heavy dresses and men were gentlemen, polite and they were very elegant. The education, was a luxury. In addition, only men were given the right to attend school. On the opposite side, women oversaw their husband and children needs. For this reason, the author present Frankenstein as a well-educated man with a wide imagination. Mary Shelly, uses several characters to describe her novel. The main characters are Doctor Frankenstein and his creation. And, the book relates the effects of the creation for Frankenstein and his monster creation. Frankenstein did not measure the consequences that this
