English Composition IIInterview Summary/ Synthesis June 20, 2017I.INTRODUCTIONThis paper will analyze a practical approach of leadership to improve ethical performance. Entrepreneur and experienced manager will give an insight of the challenges in hercareer. For this reason, this interview will analyze the impact of leadership, communication, and ethics in the organization performance of the interviewee. II.Description of the Interviewee Joanne Moore is a professional in economics and political science from The London School of Economics. She counts with great experience in economic development, project management, and independent business consulting. During her career, she has worked as a seniorvice-president and business development director. Furthermore, she decided to start her own consulting company four years ago. III.Interview The interview between Ms. Moore and I, took place on June 20, 2017. We arrange the interview through skype and it had a duration of 25 minutes approximately.
Using leadership to Improve Performance Question 1Jessica: What was your motivation about creating your own business?Joanne: I wanted to manage my own work schedule and I wanted to focus my career in my professional passion which is couching and developing projects.Question 2Jessica: How would you define leadership?Joanne: For me leadership is a group of skills that I have developed through the years. In my experience, a leader should be a collaborator and a general communicator. I also think is very important to put together teams in an effective manner.
