What relationships did I see between the Google’s corporate culture and the “Ten things Google has found to be true”? There are some relationships between the two statements. In my opinion, there are a few things from the “Things that Google has found to be true” list that are related to the corporate culture. They are: #1 Focus on the user and all else will follow. #2 It’s best to do one thing really, really well. #3 Fast is better than slow. #7 There’s always more information out there. #8 The need for information crosses all borders. #9 You can be serious without a suit. #10 Great just isn’t good enough. #4, #5, and #6 are related to company operations and new technology applications. Are the two closely connected? Why or why not? Explain. Yes, Google wants to be “the perfect search engine” (Our Philosophy, 2008).
