From Nabila Merniz to University of BedfordshireIntroduction With just under a year to go to ensure compliance measures are put in place for GDPR, any origansisations need to make sure the transition is simple as possible – after all, if the changes are not handled correctly, they could have a huge impact on Twentyci. This is the biggest change in privacy law in the past 20-30 years; furthermore, it carries high penalties for noncompliance.GDPR is an EU wide, legal requirement which stipulates organisations the need to take a greater responsibility for the storage and distribution of data specially in Twentyci. Any business which does not comply with the new regulations will face fines of up to 4 percent of annual turnover or €20 million, whichever is greater.Under the new rulings, businesses will have to appoint a Data Protection Officer, undergo mandatory Privacy Impact Assessments and all software, systems and processesmust be compliant with data protection. At this present time communication, rapid change and instant access to information can be important to any organization’s survival. The topics of leadership and organizational culture have always attracted interest from everywhere. the interest is based on how can any organisation go through the change under the new regulation that will affect leadership, culture, management, operations and this is linked to organisational performance. However, for our knowledge we don’t know much about Twentyci as they are not crystal clear to how they are going to survivor the change, for me to write this paper I had to do a general research.GDPR will make any orignisation to look at how they can change so they can be ready forit and this will affect many areas of any organisational functions specially for a company like TwentyCi and their main business is to collect data and processes it.2 | P a g e
