My entire adult life I wanted my career to be meaningful with purpose. I became a RN to help others heal and provide and support care to those who needed it the most, mentally and physically. Within the first few years of my nursing career, I knew that I wanted to do more, make a bigger impact and influence others by mentoring and coaching. I took initiatives to work on process improvement projects such as reducing waste, learning and practicing Lean mythology and stepping in for my supervisors as needed to support the team. In 2014, I wanted more from my career. I had an inner drive that never stops as I continuously eager to learn and be involvement with anything I had the time for. I gave birth to my 2 nd child in January 2014. Still I wasn’t busy enough or tired. I decided to enroll into school to get my Bachelors in Science, Nursing (BSN). I knew with this degree it would give me more and better opportunities to further my career. I successfully completed the BSN program with 12 months. Within 3 months of obtaining my BSN, I was offered 2 management position with well- known organizations. The opportunity was overwhelming as I felt so blessed to have options.
