Emotional Intelligence Summary
Emotional Intelligence is an important aspect that is often required in most workplaces.
Emotional Intelligence Quotient is defined as a set of competencies demonstrating the ability one has to
recognize his or her behaviors, moods, and impulses, and to manage them best according to the situation.
This is important because often in the workplace you need to have effective ways to deal with situations
given at hand whether they are easy solved or may affect you. A person’s intelligence quotient differs a lot
from their emotional quotient, like a person’s personality, a IQ cannot be used to predict someone’s EQ.
Here’s a good example, an employee that is “fun and positive”, to be around in the workplace, may not
