IR Review Friday, October 14, 2005 Realism is incomplete- It is incomplete because it forgets about the goodlife Use your worldview Westphalian – What happens within the state, concerns the state States are sovereign Failed States Only time realists would say you intervene in a failed state is when it serves your nationalist interest – when maintainers and transformers criticize Do system reformers offer a response to this criticism?
