XC DAB – 28J – CTY – X35 – X55 – DAB You are going on a crosscountry flight on the route shown above. You will takeoff DAB and overfly the other airports and return to DAB. Weather is not a factor – all METARS show clear with +6 visibility and the TAFs show a forecast that has no significant weather anywhere on your route. Assume you will takeoff from DAB on runway 25Right. Your airplane is not equipped with a GPS receiver. 1. What altitude can you fly (above 3000 AGL) from DAB to CTY? 6500 or 7500? 2. What altitude can you fly (above 3000 AGL) from CTY to DAB? 6500 or 7500? 3. Where and how high MSL is the highest obstacle within 10 nm either side of the TC on each leg?
