Brad Blankenship Case Study 3 What is your general response to the video? My general response to the video is that it is very creative. I like how every time he had a term or main point he described it with a picture. The guy who made the video is very good at drawing! I did not know that if you pay somebody more in time their work ethic will decrease. That was definitely new information I learned and had no clue. I would have just thought the opposite. If I got paid more I definitely would work way better. What does the video say about motivation that contradicts traditional motivation theories? What is its main message? The video describes that if you get paid more in your job, in turn you work less. That seems very confusing to me, everyone needs that extra push to get somewhere in life. Why not pay them more to “motivate” them? Wrong, in turn people start to think more about the money and less about their job. It is a very complex contradiction if you ask me. I feel from what I got the main message is people will only work to their liking. You can try to motivate, but in the end
