Wanting to be a History professor I feel as if liberal arts are very important to keep alive in the higher education environment. I know a few people who transferred to UCF with this type of degree and one of their biggest issues, like in an article I found was having so many credits. They would graduate Valencia with so many extra credits that did not count at UCF because they did not offer that course, or there is no communication between schools so they wont accept it. Which leads me to the first issue which is related to transfer students and liberal arts “The most persuasive and long lived issue in the community colleges is the extent to which their courses are accepted by the universities.” (2014, pg.269). Most of the community college changes to courses come from the fact that universities will change their graduation requirements, or its specifications for what courses they need on transcripts for incoming students.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
