Pham 1 Princeton Readings in Political Thought: John Locke, pp 243-279 After reading John Locke’s  Second Treatise on Civil Government , I certainly agree with  his beliefs more than Hobbes. One of the reasons why is because he does not believe in absolute  power. He says, “[…]  absolute monarchy  […] is indeed  inconsistent with civil society , and so  can be no form of civil-government at all,” what he means is that absolute monarchy would fail  the entire system because of the inconsistency of everyones’ interests (Cohen & Fermon 259). A question that I had was who would people in todays’ society agree with more, Hobbes  or Locke? In my opinion, I would feel as if most of the people in our country today would agree  more with Locke being that he believes in freedom and inequality (244). But after the 2016  presidential election, I would believe that some people would actually agree with Hobbes

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
