WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE FOR MOBILE APPLICATION2Work Breakdown Structure for Mobile ApplicationA work breakdown structure (WBS) is the process of dividing a project up into tasks that are manageable and logically ordered. A good work breakdown structure is part of the foundationof a good project (Rose, 2006). To create a WBS for a project that is focused on developing a new mobile application, it is important to first start with a thorough first draft of the baseline planfor the project. The baseline plan serves as a great resource to explain the intended project outcome, it generally includes information on the expected costs and timeline for a project. This essay will look at important roles and resources to consider when developing a baseline plan as well as managing tasks and the plan as a dynamic document to be responsive to learning and maturation.
