Omar Saleh Parenting in a non western country The Pakistani approach to parenting can be paired with Authoritarian child rearing but can also have different traits of other styles of parenting. From my research I found out that the Pakistani people follow the book of Islam to raise there children which in the book it says Allah (SWT) will ask every caretaker about the people under his care, and the man will be asked about the people of his Household,” In other words raising a child is very sacred to the religion of Islam and to the people of Pakistan. Parenting for them means very strict and stern rules. The father is dominate when it comes to parenting in Pakistan, what every the father says goes. But the up bring of a girl and a boy from the father’s side of parenting is very different from each other. For boys there is a lot of corporal punishment which referring to Marriages, Families, Intimate Relationships, texts means
