Re: DQ. #5 - 4 Functions of Management by Martin Hebert - Tuesday, 19 April 2016, 8:31 PM The four functions of management are planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Planning to me being the most important of the four functions includes the duties to determine the best strategies and tactics to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Organizing includes finding a way to achieve the organizations goals and objectives using the proper system in which everyone and everything works together. You also need to be a great leader to be a manager. Creating a vision for your team and guiding, training, coaching, and motivating others to work effectively are ways to be a great leader. The last function of management is controlling. Rewarding people for doing a good job can go a very long way in your organization and it is crucial to do so. It is also necessary to take corrective action if they are not doing a good job.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
