According to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), social media is a technology that allows users to interact with each other and share opinions, ideas and other contents including videos clips. Hicks, & Cox, (2010) highlighted the following as examples of social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace, and YouTube. In our contemporary society, the social media has gained enormous popularity and usage by people of different calibers for various reasons. Many forms of business adverts are causing traffic in various sites. Due to the fact that many people have been trapped by the social media and them are spending a material percentage of their time per day networking, the corporate world has grasped that opportunity and has now resulted to embrace its use due to the fact that their information can reach the target population fast, especially if the prospective customers are youths.
