Benefits of living in big cities Most people prefer living in big cities as compared to rural areas. This has been as a result of development of certain facilities which are not found in rural areas. People have migrated to urban areas due to development of good transport network. This has fastened the movement of people to and from their places of work compared to those in rural places. Adequate security in big cities has attracted people from rural areas. This is due to the creation of police posts to protect the presidential offices which are normally situated in those cities. Security can be improved in rural areas by enforcing the law so as to be adhered to by the dwellers. Job vacancies created by infant industries have attracted people seeking for jobs to urban centers. Unemployment is a major problem facing people living in rural areas
